Deal of the Year Winner - Verint / Witness Systems
Verint • Witness Systems - Tel Aviv-based company acquired Atlanta-based Witness Systems in 2007 for $950 million, resulting in Verint Witness Actionable Solutions, its largest division. The newly merged company has grown 150% in support services resources and 200% in R&D, thus becoming more scalable and efficient which in turn has contributed to the quicker delivery to market of a new combined platform. Founders Award - André Schnabl received the 2008 Chamber Founders Award in recognition of his years of support and leadership for the Chamber, as well as his stature in the accounting profession and the business community.
Community Partner Award - Georgia Bio received the 2008 Community Partner Award for their role in working with AICC to support Israeli medical device and biotech companies.
