Three Atlanta companies have made Diversity Inc. magazine’s 2008 Top 50 “Companies for Diversity” list, including Coca-Cola, which ranked No. 2; Cox Communications, No. 6; and Turner Broadcasting Systems, No. 23. Cox also ranked 10th for black employees.
High-tech business-to-business marketing and public relations firm Arketi Group earned a coveted spot on BtoB’s “Top Agencies of 2008” list, an annual ranking of small, medium and large BtoB agencies.

Triarc Companies, the franchisor of the Arby’s restaurant system, and Wendy’s International have reached a definitive merger agreement for an all-stock transaction in which Wendy’s shareholders will receive a fixed ratio of 4.25 shares of Triarc Class A Common Stock for each share of Wendy’s common stock they own. The combined systems will have approximately 10,000 restaurant units and pro forma annual system sales of approximately $12.5 billion, positioning it as the nation’s third largest quick service restaurant company.
Cox TMI Inc., a unit of Cox Enterprises, has purchased San Bruno, Calif.-based Adify Corp., a vertical online advertising company. The company, which will operate as a stand-alone company and led by Russ Fradin, president and co-founder of Adify, will remain in San Bruno.
LandCastle Title LLC, the title company of real estate firm Morris|Hardwick|Schneider, has established a new vendor management division, LandCastle Lender Services.
Atlanta Oncology Associates installed the first AccuBoost breast cancer radiotherapy system in metro Atlanta, only the eighth in the United States.
